Ceramic Sculpture students were paired with an International Student. Two ceramic students paired with an international student they were already friends with. The remaining 10 students met their international student for the first time. Ceramic students met with their international student several times to learn about their home country. The ceramic students produced sculptures that reflected the international student's home country and served as centerpieces for a dinner party. International students submitted personal recipes and the college kitchen staff prepared the food. Members of the community were invited to have dinner with the ceramic and international students.
