20 Foot Narrative
20 sculptures.
20 sculptures.
Installed on west lawn (or another area with approval).
Each sculpture needs to have a display/platform.
Materials are your choice.
What to put on your blog:
-At least 6 professional images of the finished work.
-A video – does not include a person – focus on the
work. If you want, make a second video
that includes someone walking the line/trail of sculptures.
-A statement about the work.
-Research (can be imagery and/or audio and/or text). At least 3 forms of research.
Cause and Effect
Construct a device/structure that is operational. The operational component must be devised for a human to perform. In other words, in order for the sculpture to have an effect, a human must operate it. And the operation must cause a change/shift in the sculpture. Puppetry, pulling, pushing, sweeping, pedaling, putting, pouring, weighing, dragging, turning, stirring, sitting, throwing, stretching. Harness, pulleys, sand, water, rope, wood, rubber. Materials are your choice. No size limits.
