Video installation featured in a group show at Jaybird’s Inn, a motel in Saint Augustine

I created this installation with the intention to reflect the intimate space of the hotel room and for the viewer to feel the presence of the body as they watch. The room became mirrored as the TV faced the bed, and the bed being displayed on the screen, by the TV. The video consists of a ritualistic, mundane situation of a couple getting dressed and ends with the notion of recycling; the beginning, the end and the loop.
I was inspired by Ulay and Abramovic’s collaborations and scenes from Amélie
