A few words about mistakes...

"Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature. Never try to correct them.
On the contrary: rationalize them,
understand them thoroughly.
After that, it will be possible
for you to sublimate them."

Salvador Dali
(1904-1989)
Spanish painter and printmaker

Advanced Sculpture - Since we experimented with beeswax the other day, I thought this image might appeal to some of you.  Also, phone booth aquarium is interesting for site specific.

Ceramic Sculpture - Perhaps  people on toothbrush may interest some of you (assemblage/found object).

Advanced Sculpture Students - After our class discussion today, I added a few more You Tube Videos.  Check out Kinetic Wave Sculpture.  I think all of you will connect with the artist's process, concept and/or final solution.

Maggie - I mentioned Beverly Semmes in class today.  Check out the link and see what you think.

This piece was influenced by a Jack Kerouac writing.  The site was chosen for it's location in an urban neighborhood.  The date and time significant because a full moon was needed at midnight.  Stacks of white paper formed an enclosed circle around a chair and window pane. On top of each stack of paper is an object that is mentioned in Kerouac's writing.
