Dismantle objects so that they do not resemble their original state. Assemble to create a new form.
Objective:
Provide structural and conceptual challenges in 3D form.
Materials:

Paper Sculpture
Assignment:
Construct a three-dimensional form that demonstrates skill, effort, content and concept.
Objective:
Provide an opportunity for student to respond formally and conceptually. Decisions about structure and content will be made while in the building process.
Materials:
- To get started - white craft paper, clear packing tape and/or 1/2" or wider mask tape. White craft paper available in the studio.
- You may continue to work with only the white craft paper or incorporate other papers. Some suggestions - newspaper, tracing paper, vellum, white card stock.
- In addition, you may use other materials for structural support such as chicken wire, wire, pillow stuffing. Structural support materials cannot be visible in final solution.
- Newspaper also makes a cheap and useful support if you are "stuffing".
